Ancient Civilization:

Awdal civilization started long before any other ancient civilization and continued to the 21st century. At early nineteenth century Awdal was one of the most civilized Empires in the World. The city of Zeila was the biggest commerce center on the red sea, catering to the inlands of Africa, the Middle east, the Far east, and southern Europe, while the city of Harar was the pillar of Islamic education in Africa, rivaling Timbuktu university of west Africa.

Disaster
hit the Awdal region, Somali / land

On the 13th of January 2008, a natural disaster befell on a vast area in the Awdal region and Gabiley District of Somaliland. Frozen rains accompanied by winds exceeding a 100 km/hour hit the region for three consecutive days. The sudden and drastic fall of temperature reaching as low as -20ºC (-4ºF) victimized all forms of lives .

Construction Secondary School in BOON

After a request from the local government in the city of BOON and surroundings, Awdal development Organization have started with the planning of the construction of Secondary School in the city of BOON.
BOON is situated in Awdal, Somaliland. BOON is a largest city in Libaaxley and surroundings. In Libaaxley and surroundings live more than 35,000 people who have no access to further education after the primary school.
Awdal development Organization want in association with the population and the room government to make it possible that Secondary School comes there for the children in Libaaxley and surroundings.

ADO wants to ask everyone to help and provide a contribution.

Children in Libaaxley region have also right to have continues education after the primary school. ADO believe that only primary education is not sufficient enough to be able for building a future.
The development of the country is mainly dependent of the level of education of its population.

Everyone in the Netherlands and can make a contribution.

Malnutrition

Construction of the Health Clinic

Awdal Development Organization has started with the implementation of the construction of the clinic in Awdal. The project runs successfully and it is now at the last stage of implementation and end April will be finish.
